Her challenge is to make a birthday card using a cricut cartridge that has balloons, birthday hats or birthday cakes. The deadline for this challenge is May 23rd. I used PK-680 Retro Paper Doll Face Assortment in the 5/8th size. I used a white gel pen for the eyes and waterfall stickles for the irises of the eyes. I used pink chalk to highlight the cheeks.
All the patterned paper is from the doodlebug design 6x6 paper pack sugar & spice. I also used orange peel stickles for the flames. I covered the frosting cut in glossy accents and I inked around all the edges with creamy brown chalk ink. I attached the cake with foam adhesive. The sentiment stamp came from the Hero Arts set called this is big. I made the banner by just cutting a strip of patterned paper, stamping the sentiment, adhering that piece with foam adhesive than cutting two more tiny strips, notching the edges and adhering them to both sides of the sentiment directly to the card base.
